Matton joined our herd in the Spring of 2018 from Manzinita Farm. Matton’s pedigree reads like the “Who’s Who” of the goat community. He is sired by *B J-Haven’s Livin w/Admiration who is the son of the 2014 National Champion, GCH J-Haven’s FT Liven’ w/Ambition 1*M EX 92 EEEE.  The dam’s side of his pedigree is no less impressive. His maternal grandam, SGCH Lucky Star’s LOT Vivian 4*M EX 94 EEEE, one of the few Lamanchas to ever appraise an EX94. Vivian has made the Top Ten list on three separate occasions. Matton’s, dam, SGCH Lucky Star’s Elizabeth 5*M EX91EVEE, is a very accomplished doe in her own right. Last year alone, she was 6 x Best of Breed, 1 x Best Udder of Breed and 3 x Best Doe in Show including Best Doe in Show at the Illinois State Fair

This boy has developed into an incredible herd sire. His body capacity and overall general appearance is staggering and the offspring we’ve gotten out of him the past two years have exceeded our expectation, many of which have been retained in our herd.
