Sales Policy
Beginning with our 2022 Breeding Program, we require a $100 deposit on reservations. We maintain a priority reservation list for people requesting kids and will contact them of availability when kids are born. We recommend that buyers make a first choice and second choice selection. We make every attempt to keep our breeding list up-to-date. Deposits may be made via Venmo, PayPal, personal check, money order, or cash (in-person). Please do not mail cash as we cannot be responsible for monies lost in-transit. The unpaid balance must be paid in cash, certified check, money order, Venmo or PayPal when kid is picked up. DeLuna Acres reserves the right to retain any animal on the breeding list for herd replacement, or withdraw an animal that does not meet our quality and health standards. We will happily provide requested health tests at buyer’s expense prior to the kid leaving DeLuna Acres. Please note, we rarely make herd-sires available out of first freshener does.
To avoid forfeit of deposit, kid must be picked up or shipped within 4 weeks of birth. If you request that we hold your kid post 4 weeks, the kid must be paid for in full and a final pick-up or shipment date agreed upon in advance. A $5/day boarding fee per kid will be charged for each kid picked up or shipped after 4 weeks. All sales are final.
Kids are pulled at birth for disease prevention, bottle fed at least 16 oz. of heat-treated colostrum in the first 24 hours, then started on regular bottle-feeding intervals of pasteurized goat milk treated with coccidia prevention. We practice strict CAE prevention through meticulous herd management. We vaccinate our does with CD/T and BoSe 30 days prior to their due date and every kid is treated with BoSe within 24 hours of birth. We will never knowingly sell an animal with health-related issues. Kids are disbudded within a few of birth. If you prefer that we do not disbud, please let us know when making the reservation. Kids eligible for registration will be sold with registration and owner transfer unless otherwise specified. Registration fees are covered by the breeder.
We are able to ship from Boise International Airport to the buyer’s location, if requested. All shipping costs including but not limited to kennels, airfare, veterinary expenses, health certificates and entry permits are the responsibility of buyer and paid in-full prior to shipment.
