Catie was added to our herd in the summer of 2019. Catie is a very correct doe that excels in general appearance and dairyness with a long level top line, wide flat rump, strong feet, legs and pasterns and a beautiful productive mammary system.  She is a powerhouse in both genetics and milk production and has been on the ADGA Elite Doe list in 2016, 2017, 2018 and again in 2019.

We are incredibly excited at the prospect of leveraging her strong genetic background in our upcoming 2020 breeding program as well as continuing to monitor her progress on the DHIR Milk Test Program. Catie was bred to Matton for a Spring 2020 kidding. Should she produce a buck kid, he will be retained within our herd as a future herd sire.

Update: Catie gave us a beautiful buckling we decided to retain, DeLuna Maximus who we leveraged heavily in our breeding program with great success.

2021 Updates

Catie had a rough 2020 having lost a great deal of body capacity before we acquired her from another breeder. She was a work in progress for most of 2020 and fortunately had a complete recovery. She is again producing high volumes of milk which should return her to the Elite Doe List.
