Lizzie is our first addition from Rockin-CB and we couldn’t be more pleased. Lizzie is a very correct doe and is maturing nicely with an impeccable general appearance and top line, perfect teat placement, and perfect legs.

Lizzie comes from a high performing milking line and hope that trait passes along to her. We will give her time to mature and not include her in the 2020 breeding plans.

2020 Updates:

Lizzie has developed into a really incredible looking dry yearling and will be factored into this year’s breeding program. She’s grown considerably in body capacity and general appearance. Unfortunately due to the Covid impact, Lizzie only was afforded one show this year against the strongest lamancha breeders in the NW. She stood her ground and was able to secure a RCH placing at the Hells Canyon Dairy Show. Really looking forward to seeing how she will compete next year as a milking yearling.

2021 Updates:

We included Lizzie in our 2021 Breeding Plans and bred her to our retained buck, Maximus producing a buck kid and a doe kid. We have only ever offered one buck kid from a first freshener as a herd sire, we are breaking that rule again with Lizzie. We also plan to retain her doe kid in our herd. There’s a lot to like about Lizzie. On her first milk test she produced 11#, unbelievable production for a first freshener and she continues to excel on subsequent tests. Her only fault at this time is that her body condition is thin, due to the high milk production we are seeing from her. She’s been on high fat supplements to add weight in hopes that we can factor her into the show season this year.
