Sai joined our herd as a two week old bottle baby from Huricane-PM Dairy in November 2018. Sai’s pedigree is built around high performing herd stock from some of the top Lamancha breeders in the country including Barnowl, Kastdemur, Tempo, South-Fork, Rockin-CB, Lucky Star, and one national champion, Kastdemur Evian.

The most striking traits with Sai at such a young age are her wide rump, perfect rear legs and spectacular top line. We are looking forward to see how this girl develops and cannot wait to get her in the show ring. Stay tuned for updates.

2019 Updates

Sai had a great year in the ring, taking a number of 1st place in class and 14th overall at Nationals. She is still on the small side for a November kid and just needs more time to mature overall. We fully expect 2020 to be her breakout year.

2020 Updates

Sai picked up where she left off last year in the show ring. This doe just doesn’t know how to lose. In a shortened (Covid impacted) season, Sai won her class in the Hamilton, MT and Logan, UT shows. In Hamilton she went on to take RGCH and in Logan she look the big prize, GCH, securing her dry leg. Cannot wait to breed her this coming season and seeing how she performs next year as a milking yearling.

June 25, 2021

Today Sai lost her battle with a fast spreading mastitis. We are saddened beyond belief to lose such a beautiful doe. Sai came to us as a bottle baby 2 years ago and had an immediate impact in the show ring as a junior including 8 class wins, 1 RCH win, 1 GCH win (including an earned dry leg) and a 14th place at the 2019 Nationals Show. We are fortunate Sai blessed us with a doeling which we will retain. We hope she can pick up where Sai left off. Rest well pretty girl, you will never be forgotten.
